So I sat here at my computer and decided it would be great if I had a team of scientists to privately work on answering my personal questions.
Then I decided I should stop being lazy and just google what I need to know. But there was a problem! I didn't know exactly what I was looking for--the legal term or whatever.
So lacking help from both a group of scientists and google, I come here for help.
I'm a U.K. citizen planning to visit Canada pretty soon. Does anyone know how long I can legally stay in Canada?
(My first visit shouldn't be a problem as it's only two and a half weeks, but I'll be going back for the summer.)

I know there's a thing in the US, that when you go to Canada for one day, and then you come back the next day, it's the beginning of a new visa for some people. My mom had a friend that was from the UK, and went to Canada for a weekend every year to avoid being deported or something. I'm not exactly clear on that. So maybe it's the other way around for you to visit Canada, and then come to the US for one day.

From a google search - Supposedly, travellers from the United Kingdom can enter Canada for up to 90 days if they have a round-trip (non-refundable) ticket and a passport valid for at least six months past their scheduled departure date.
On the official Citizenship and Immigration Canada website, it indicates that British citizens who are re-admissible to the United Kingdom do not require a visa. And you can even extend your stay by going through CIC procedures.

lol, TBE, you found the same page I did - further down someone else said it's six months, not three.

Thanks ST. I tried googling it myself but to no avail. Much obliged!

Your wrong, it's actually 3 weeks, but spread into 6 weeks. Every other day, it's cold and rainy.
