I wonder what the scapegoat will be this time.
I go 4/6 that it's violent movies, and evens that it's violent video games. Metal music a 4/1 outsider.

that is some scary shit.
but what i don't understand is why do people kill innocent people? they should at least get the list of registered sex offenders, and assassinate a few of them before they kill themselves :D

I can't believe this, every time I refresh google news the story gets worse.
Details are still being sorted out but it looks like they arrested the wrong guy and the shooter is now dead. They're still not completely sure if there was only one shooter.
Correction, if there is only one shooter, this thing is still unfolding :(
Edit: Strontz, at least let them finish counting the dead before you fucking start.

I don't know about that. It doesn't take much to be a sex offender. If you're drunk and are caught peeing in the bushes by police, that is grounds to become a sex offender.

I guess I've just become so cynical these days, I tend to forget the immediate human impact and just think about the long-term implications.

There just aren't any words for something like this. Or there are too many. My heart goes out to the victims' families and all the other kids that were traumatized by this senseless act of violence today.
According to the article I just read, this is the second shooting incident at or near VA Tech. Doesn't sound like this was done by an escaped con, though. Curious that he struck at a specific floor of a dorm and then went to a specific classroom across campus. Well, I'm sure the story will unfold as the day wears on.
So very tragic.
Edit: They just updated the fatalities to 31. Tragic indeed.

I think this is just proof as to exactly how far gone these people are. I can't even fathom what they are trying to accomplish or what satisfaction they're gaining.
