I hear it counts if it's ten times to same pic.

I was going to type a thing out but then Scots went and said exactly what I would have attempted to. Hats of to one of the more well adjusted and normal people on this forum.
Of course my post would have been filled with more vitriol.

I know that this is vitriol, no solution, spleen-venting
But I feel better having screamed, don't you?

Great sex is something that can be learned. That's why people write books about it. Plus, I'd bet you that learning about one another, each other's likes and dislikes, where to touch, what turns her on, etc. can be just as intimate as when you practice what you've read.
All the theories and learning of mechanics of sex don't remove the fact that all people are not compatible. Even someone you totally drool over can turn out to be a huge turnoff when you finally have sex with him/her, and no amount of books can cure the lack of chemistry, that magical component that makes you moan and gasp and feel EVERYTHING x1000, and what makes sex Truly Great.
But if your starting point is "sex isn't even that important", you probably won't care if it's not that great either, so all is fine.

Word Vas. You should know this principle even from a kiss/snog. You think you're going to be into it and then just wtf are you doing with your/my mouth? And it works the other way to - you're not that into them and then whoa this is a nice surprise.

So in a nutshell- we think E-mon is making a big deal out of the fact that OTHER people make a big deal out of losing your virginity?
No, he's making a big deal out of virginity in the first place by treating it as a badge of honour and something to be preserved at all costs.
Now obviously, it's his right to do that, but if you're going to be a poster boy for True Love Waits, accusing other people of making a big deal of it isn't going to wash.

I'm assuming your ladyfriend wasn't standing over your shoulder when you wrote that, gunny? ;)
Actually, no, but she thought it was funny.

Aren't you the one making a big deal out of it?
If you look back at the resurrection of the thread, you'll find that all I said was "Still a virgin, btw. :)" It was just a statement of truth, not a grandiose "I'M A VIRGIN AND IF YOU AREN'T, YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF GIRL-BANGING SOCIAL REJECTS, SUCKAS!"* For several posts after that, I said very little, and didn't even try to steer the topic back to virginity when it veered. I would say that qualifies as
not making a big deal out of it.
*Not that most of the counter-arguments have been that brash; I'm just illustrating a point.

What kind of compatibility/chemistry are you talking about? If I have sex, it'll be after I've married someone whom I will love until "death do us part." Therefore, there will definitely be chemistry apart from the sexual aspect (otherwise, I wouldn't marry her). Obviously, you're not talking about this type, so to what are you referring?

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. :) I just hope he comes back and lets us know how his 'problem' has played out.
More than likely, I'll still be around here if I get married, so I'll be sure to let you know. ;)

I've been having sex since the last time I posted in this thread. I'm getting tired.

SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
Yeah, I can see waiting until you find someone you love and trust, but until marriage? Of all the stupid shit.
Life is too short to spend prime lovemaking years posting about your virginity on public forums.
