Anyways this is the biggest emo thread ever. The longer you feel sorry for yourself, and have no confidence in yourself, the longer it`ll be till you get any, if ever. As people have already said in this thread, dont look for it, it`ll happen when you least expect it. Secondly have confidence in yourself.
Easiest way to do this, is to not to aim so high. Instead date average girls (much easier to get than the better looking ones who you`ll need confidence to get), and make your way up from there + get lots of sex along the way. With each new girlfriend your self confidence will improve as will your standards. Then oneday your attitude will change completely to the point where if a girl knocks you back, then you wont care at all and see it as her loss and not yours. And secondly you`ll be dating/having sex with hot chicks, and it definately wont be as such a BIG issue incomparison to more important things like having a stable long lasting relationship.
And lastly on pickup lines, you`d be surprised how many of those corny movie/tv lines actually work in reality. For example, I used the "gimme some sugar baby" line from Evil dead 3 on a chick in a club once, and it worked lol. Worlds full of surprises.
