And the sex drive is why in my example deciding to be a virgin actually would be a hard choice, as opposed to "deciding" to be a virgin when the choice has never actually presented itself. Why should those in the latter group be praised for making a tough choice?
edit: this is for facist but applies to all virgin males, I guess. Don't tell a girl you're not a virgin when you are. If you do, and you have sex, and you suck because it's your first time, she's going to think you're just plain shitty in bed. If she knows you're a virgin and you suck, at least she knows why, and will have reason to think you have a lot of room for improvement
