I have a brand new ti 4200 and can finnally play Morrowind. How do I view what my frame rate is in the game?

Go to your Morrowind folder and open Morrowind.ini with notepad. You'll see a line near the top that reads:
Show FPS=0
Change the 0 to a 1, save and exit. Restart the game and you'll see your FPS in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

What frame rate you get with your new card.
My Gforce2 Pro gives me 14-15fps in town :(

I'm running Morrowind on a P4/1.8G GF3-TI500. Graphics cranked up at 1024/768 i'm getting about 30-35fps. I'm going to stuff some more ram in and maybe get a GF4 to see what other improvements I can get.

You want to know something strange? I get better framerates by *increasing* the games' resolution. At 1600x1200, full draw distance, I get around 40fps.
