So that's how they got around... I bet there's a dismantled freeway down there!
Holy shit though, some of those photographs are mind-bending.
Case in point: third one in reel. FUCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

Very neat. Quite nice. But there is one place that, in my opinion, beats it on pure strange spectacle and grandeur.
Deep below the Desert of Small Annoying Dogs, lies (

A giant cave housing an underground jungle, or a macro scaled geode resting on top of a magma bed, buried deep beneath the earth. Kinda hard to choose which is neater here, but I gotta give the ultimate nod to the geode.

As cool as those rocks are, I consider a functioning jungle (with clouds) existing in a cave to be tremendously more amazing then those geodes. Unless this was an elaborate prank by the Vietcong this could be the find of the decade. I think this is going to get really interesting when egg heads start really examining the life in there, it could quite possibly be a slice of living fossils.

They could film The Thing prequel in there, wow!

Very nice pics! I am playing Shell Shock 2 right now which takes place in Vietnam. There some very nice scenery in there that takes place in caves with the sun peeking through cracks in the roof.
Again, very nice considering the horrors that took place there between the GIs and the NVA/Dac/Viet Cong!
