Seems like that hospital has more cops than docs.

It's because the cops arrested all the docs. Try to pay attention, fett!

The (

Instead she refused to comply and sent off warning buzzers. How is this the cop's fault?

That cop was an ass.
So she didn't signal - and she probably figured she was like 10 secs from the hospital and here situation warrented a higehr priority than pulling over 10 secs from the place - so she pulled on in.
That asshole cop was too concerned with "having the upper hand" to see the situation.
Someone could have been dying but Mr. Asshole could only be concerend with his selfish need to control everything.
Hope he got fired. Maybe sued.

when neither side is willing to compromise and inch...canes come crashing down
I think both sides could have avoided this, and really blame neither entirely. Chain of causation...it's when a link is never broke that things like this turn out the way they do.

On the one hand, it would have taken her less time to get him the info he was asking for than arguing with him.
On the other, if I had a loved one that needed emergency medical care, I'd beat the fucking pope down to get them there, and fuck the consequences. If her husband was hurt, her priorities were right - get help for him, THEN deal with a stupid 'failure to use turn-signal' violation.
Can't you see this at the funeral?: "Harold was a good man, taken from us too soon. But Fiona did the RIGHT THING by fucking around with Barney Fife for ten minutes while Harold died of an embolism in the passenger seat. No one's to blame. Oh Lord, we now commit his body..."
If you don't see the cop acting like a prick from the get go, grabbing at her arm and holding his holster the whole time, you must be blind.
It also pisses me off that he says, "If your husband's hurt that badly, you could have called for an ambulance." I can't guess at the patient's economic status, but have you ever had to pay for a fucking ambulance ride? I have - twice. It runs about $7,500 a pop and it's a bitch to get even good insurance companies to pay for it. There's a middle ground between life-threatening 911 emergencies, and taking your sweet time to get to the hospital.
Since the cop was 'protecting and serving' - wouldn't the LOGICAL thing have been for him to help her get the injured man inside, THEN take her to task about a fucking turn signal? A turn signal - are you kidding me? Is that even worth pulling someone over for? Especially when they're on their way to the emergency room? Clearly, he was focused on being the big tough cop, rather than helping an injured man. Asshole.
But no - let's cheer the cop on because he's saving us all from those dangerous non-turn signal using criminals in hospital driveways. I mean, we have to draw a line somewhere - if we let them get away with not using their turn signals in an emergency, what's next? U-turns? Idling in fire zones? Or god forbid, turning right on red?!
What a fucking prick this guy was. What a hero for taking down a dangerous woman in the emergency parking. He should get a medal.
