I've been away all weekend at a friend's engagement party, so there's been no progress. There should be further progress this week.
The zebra striping really seems split 60/40 against from the opinions I've had. As such, the default will be without it, however as the 'for' is a sizeable majority a second style will be offered which will be zebra-striped, but I want to get most of the other issues sorted first, so it'll stay as is for the moment.

Non-critical when-you-have-a-spare-moment request list:
* Are we missing the "find threads started by this poster" feature, or has it moved? I'd like this feature implemented if it's currently missing.
* Can we shrink down the visitor message fonts to match the rest of the forum?

I'm really not liking the new search system, it's too convoluted- but all could be forgiven if, when I search by post, it shows me the first/relevant part of each post the search turns up.

The new search's sorting is rather odd, too.
If I do a search for all posts made by me within the last two months, sorted by date descending, it sorts it by the last post date of the thread, rather than the date of my post.
This rather breaks my "threads that I've replied to recently" search.

Anyone getting the private message pop up?
I've got it enabled in my settings and got an exception for it in ffox but since the upgrade it hasn't been working for me.

The private message notification alerts are still working for me in Opera.

I've had no problems with the message, and I use Firefox. Does the OS matter? If so, XP SP3.

Nope. No pop-up for me either. Not that anyone PMs me on any regular basis, but it didn't work several days ago, and I've got an exception in FF to allow it too... :confused:
I just wish I didn't have to Edit each post so it will show in normal column width each time. Gets tedious. Don't like to leave it, 'cause it looks goofy. :p
