Hit Deity - for the time being, when you post, click 'edit' & if the edit box comes up on the same page, click 'save' (no need to make any changes). Your post should then be full width.
David - noticing more improvements each time I come on - keep up the good work!

Interesting that while the fonts in the Thread title *are* bigger in the new board, I actually get 12 threads per screen versus only 11 in the old board comparison.

Turtle, can you take a screenshot of the areas you're having trouble with the colours on as they should be the same as vb3.8. I'm also pretty damn colourblind and I'm not having any trouble.
Can you also include what browser you're using in case one of them isn't playing ball and I haven't found it yet.
It's not impossible to read, it's just much harder to do at-a-glance.

Also, I broke it, apparently.
And I think the problem isn't so much the colors as it is the envelopes filling up most of that color space.
Also, I can't seem to stay logged in at home. I have the same problem dethtall had, where it doesn't recognize I'm logged in until I click a link and once I leave the site it logs be back out.

I don't know if this has been asked already, but in the generated file names for threads, could we get the "
TTLG Forums - " bit back? I usually save threads with interesting content, and this makes sorting them so much easier.
I also second the people who would like a better contrast between read and unread threads.
Just as a matter of record, thank you for looking into these! :thumb:

Thank you for the updated forum and continually improving it.
I've noticed a couple of minor pagination issues: in the forum view, the Post New Thread buttons are on the right-hand edge of the screen, one by the thread/post information at the top, and another next to the Search forum dropdown; additionally, in the same view, where titles which take up two lines, the By Poster info is not indented (lined up with the title).
I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0 (I haven't checked if these issues are applicable with Firefox, my home browser).

Liking some of it, but finding some broken bits - noticeably some posts (not just mine) seem to be formatted with huge margins on the
left other left hand side - hilarity ensues.

oh right - this is a known bug to be fixed in a future VB update in the future sometime. That's alright then.
p.s. what'd be really smart, and I didn't want to mention it until I'd looked at the code and the theme and could be a bit more helpful, is if some of the clicking areas could be a bit larger than say the little fiddly 16x16 icon you've gotta click to get to the most recent post in a thread from it's entry the thread index page thingies. It's bad enough with a mouse, but try it on an iphone or if you've cut your normal arm off or something. If the clickable area could be expanded to include the date
and the icon in the thread index page entry thing you know what I mean that'd be really smart.

Question that may or may not have been answered: why is it text wrapping at half-post length some of the time and changing if edited then changing back unwarranted of any further changes?
Enchantermon on 27/1/2010 at 01:43
It's a bug in this version of vBulletin that is fixed in the next release.
