That was a joke; the blink tag is generally used as an example of the worst of web design.

So my idea of a large, poorly-compressed spinning skull gif is still a go, then? Excellent. It'll go great with the embedded MIDI of the Airwolf theme.

Flank it with those fire .gifs too and make the background black with red text

I can't say that I see the point of doing that. After all, one quick press of the "home" key and the breadcrumbs are right there in front of you
Well, I'm mostly using my mouse to browse with (Opera mouse gestures) thus I like such a solution.
I don't see what's to dislike about it tho. ;)

Anyone notice that the Gulag is a bit wonky at the moment? There are three messages there that don't exist (error when clicked) but always show as new.

Yeah I noticed that too
err I mean ¬¬

Yeah, unfortunately we've had a spate of Too Many Connection errors and the 'orphan' threads tend to occur when the error occurs between added a thread and adding the post to the thread. I'm going to look at the limit later on.

Wasn't there a feature that limited signatures to max once per thread? It doesn't seem to work any more.

Yeah there was, and I had ported it over, but I redid the post template to correct a bug and forgot to implement it again. I'll be putting that back, thanks for reminding me. :)

In the "Thread Display Options" in the User CP, there is an option to show avatars - as we don't have any, I guess this option could go to the Options Gulag.
But what I actually wanted to ask is about the new method of showing which threads you have read - is it possible to make it optional to choose whether I want the new or the old method? All these (not so) new threads are only confusing me. ;)
And to make it even better, I'd also like an option to choose the time (for the old method), after which all threads are shown as read. :)
