I have to say however that at that time I was using a character that had acrobatics as major skill and I was at a fairly high level (above 10 below 16).
The Berne clan adds more to acrobatics than other clans (the normal 20 plus an additional 20 if I remember correctly) and after this boost my acrobatics was close to 100.
You don't get any additional stats 'boosts' other than those you receive when you first become a vampire.

Hmm.. now, sorry if I say something dumb... but with vampirism the main problem is sunlight yes?
Would a constant effect darkness item work?
(Is there a darkness spell? I'm at work, so don’t have access to ESCS)

Hmm... there's no 'darkness' spell, and 'light' won't take a negative argument... I suppose you could cast 'blindness' on yourself, but it probably wouldn't do you any good as protection from the sun ;)

Y'know when you get to the sign post that points out Molag Mar, Mount Kand, and Mount whatever off to the left?? Well, the Berne vamp hangout, the Galom Daeus, the observatory with the big telescope, I think I see it!! I was wondering if there was an easier way to get to it, say, like climbing up a hill?! Any info would be very helpful so I wouldn't have to go out of my way to get to it.

I'm unsure about the directions as i used levitate and 100pt jump spells to get there from Suran.
I'm unsure whether you get this as a reward or something but I'll give you the code for an amulet that when equipped asks you whether you'd like to be teleported to the Berne HQ -
Player->AddItem Amulet_Berne 1
I have a feeling it is something left in the game by the editors as the amulet itself doesn't have a swirly blue background like other enchanted items but all the same it should make your and other vampire's (un)lives a little easier.
Your right that this is cheating btw but it's ever such a small thing and if it makes you enjoy the game more then I think it's ok to use - the vampire HQ's are so out of the way it must become taxing to say the least keep travelling to and from then especially if your not a mage.

It doesn't have a blue swirl because it isn't enchanted in the normal sense. It is a script that teleports you there and you can easily copy and alter it if you want to make an item that teleports you to your selfmade home.

Hello, all! It's me, y'know, your annoying little friend...lol!! But, really, when I go to any other vampire nest besides the vamp HQ AFTER I've been infected, I believe the other vamps' syntax is something like: No! A vampire! Go away! Okay, now we are all technically vampires, so why are the others acting strange? A game bug, maybe? I have the xbox version, so might that have something to do with it???
