Red, is there a way you can, hehe, cheat on the xbox version of Morrowind to level up faster, or maybe, something I could download for my xbox that would make leveling up a whole heckuva lot easier?

Leveling up for dummies:
Step 1: Mage a character with destruction in a major/minor skill slot
Step 2: Get that character over to the mages guild, train up destruction to about 55. (I started with a dark elf so the +10 destruct helped out.
Step 3: Buy a frost effect spell, one of the mages in balmora mage guild has it.
Step 4: Make yourself a spell with frost damage, set it to do 1-100 damage, and last for 4 seconds. You should have something like a 50-70% chance to cast it. Make it effect on touch.
Step 5: Goto vivec via guild guide
Step 6: Use the touch frost spell to kill ordinators. Just go up to them, and cast it. They will charge you 40 gold, and then die after your bounty is removed.
Step 7: Loot their stuff, sell it to Creeper (In ghorak manor, in caldera)
Step 8: Use gold acquired from ordinator loot to train yourself up. I suggest training any skills that are governed by endurance first, so that every time you level up, you're geting more hp.

Reason : With 1-100 damage for 4 seconds you can end up doing only 4 damage (very unlikely, but it can happen) but 50-50 for 4 seconds will always do 200 damage (most ordinators have 181 health and no cold resistance)

Hmm... to be honest I have the PC version so i don't know much about the X box version.
I'm concerned about you wanting to level up quick i mean in theory what level do you wish to level up to before becoming a vampire? Like i said its not all about your level but also the items you have and the spells you know. Even if you did manage to level up really quick you'd never afford all the equipment and enchantments you'd want as a vampire.
I know you'll hate me for saying this but i think you should (like me) put off becoming a vampire until you have at least completed one guild. After completing a guild you should both have the experience, equipment, and money to enjoy playing as a vampire.
Believe me there isn't anything more dissatisfying than playing a low level vampire where you can't walk around as the dark demi-god you like to think you are but instead struggle from cave to cave fighting of rats which threaten to end your immortality.
Wait a while, grow strong and then when you grow bored of the mortals around you get your self infected and terrorise the locals safe in the knowledge that you really are the most powerful creature on the island.
Cheers

Red, a vampire is NOT ALIVE, so the cave rats, etc. shouldn't be able to kill me... lol. But, really, in all seriousness, do the vampires, Bearne vampires, in particular, do they "give" you any special powers once your diseased, even if it was at a low level, such as 1 or 2?
Nothing on 15/7/2002 at 19:32
All vampires get a stat bonus, but not a level bonus. I believe Bearnes get a +20 to str, +20 to speed, + 20 to willpower, and + 40 to agility. Not 100% on that though. You also recieve a spell, Vampire's Kiss.
Listen to everyone. Becomeing a Vampire won't make you a badass. But if you are already a badass, becomeing one makes you even badder. If you turn now, you will SERIOUSLY limit your options later. If you still want to go through with it, read my post I made earlier... the "weakness to common disease" spell will turn you, and FAST. I was supposed to be IMMUNE to all diseases, and it only took me about 5 min to get turned with a 68% weakness constant effect enchantment. It will take you longer than that, as you can't affort to enchant such things yet, but your resistance to disease is already not to high. The spell will lower it much more.

Nothing, 2 questions: 1st: vampires have vampire dust on them. Now, in a guide to ES3, it was shown that you could use vampire dust, and ONLY that, mix it up through use of mortar and pestal, and you would come out with the final product of vampirisim. Now, will that turn you into a vamp for good, or just a little while?? And, if not, where can I find the 'weakness to common disease' spell?
MARANDUS on 16/7/2002 at 02:38
I must disagree. When you turn vamp you are a serious badass..... well you are a serious badass if you have good stats when you vamp. If you vamp yourself at like.....a level one........IT IS NOT GOOD. vamping at a level one is a bad idea. I think what you need to do ride free is hold off becoming a vamp for awhile until you are more powerful and when you feel the time is right then go get vamped. I vamped myself when I was fairly powerful and I am very glad I waited. I am a mage vamp and just about everything I meet dies. I just blast them away with magic and when I get low on health I use the vampires kiss. You sound like you want to vamp really bad but I think you need to seriously boost your stats first. You will be one very dead vampire if you vamp yourself at a level one or two.....three........four........bla bla bla........

To mix a potion you need 2 different ingredients with a common effect. You can
not make a vampirism potion without the editor.
Weakness to Common Disease is available in Caldera Mages Guild
