I am a Vampire mage and I hate this crap. I cant learn new spells because everyone hates me and obviously I cant be in the sun. Although I am a serious Bad ass and I kill everything I meet......I cant sell, I cant buy, I can talk to only a few people I cant do a DAMN thing. And as far as I know you cant do any special quest as a vamp im not sure if I can still do my regular quest for my house and guild but I am almost positive you cant. Sure its fun killing everything you meet but after awhile it gets b-o-r-i-n-g please forgive me if i sound like a little baby but I was expecting much more.....sighhhhhh. Will somebody please let me know if there is more than just this to being a vampire.....AND I AM SICK AND TIERD OF THESE GOD FORSAKEN DREAMS MY VAMP KEEPS HAVING ABOUT HIS CHILDHOOD AND THE BLUE PRETTY SKY WITH THE SUN SHINING ON HIM. Anyways hear are a couple of things I hate about being a vampire. People please prove me wrong and tell me there is more to this than just running around and commiting some kinda Genocide on the Morrowind population. I like my new abilities and powers but I can get those through level ups. By the way. all it takes is a little scratch and you are infected. if you are trying to become one just have alot of health potions and a divine intervention so when you become infected you can escape without being killed you need the health potions because it sometimes takes a while for them to infect you and you are going to come close to death several times possibly.......well hear there are
1. Everyone hates you
2. you cannot sell or buy
3.you cannot learn new spells
4.there is no clan you can join
5. you cannot repair your weapons
6. even other vamps want you dead
7. you need to kill in order to live (vampires kiss) or is it tuch?
8. Basically people you cannot do a damn thing except.....KILL
9. I almost forgot.....you cannot do your quest anymore....I think. havnt tried yet

There are 3 vampire clans, you are a member of one of them depending on which vampire caused your change.
Each clan has a few quests and there are some other quests available to vampires (and you can turn Goldbrand into Eltonbrand if you are a vampire).
There is a cure, need to find a rare book to get you started (a copy of this book is in the secret library in Hall of Justice, you'll be sent out to find this one by Skink as a normal Mages Guild quest).

Hmmm... I don't have a vamp character but I have in my time had a go at being one (for a short period of time) using the console.
I really enjoyed being a vamp and I intend to become infected one day permanently. The stats boosts are amazing and allow you to attain levels that you wouldn't normally be able to boost your stats to (without cheating or going to jail etc).
Oh and being able to jump on to roofs of houses and jumping right over the river in Balmora is great fun. ;)
My advice to you MARANDUS is search out your clan HQ! Eventually when you get in the clans good books they will offer you services that should include spells and spell making.
In the hour and half I messed about being a vamp I talked to a few people and did a number of quests including one for a mage in Vivec and one for a dark elf mother in Ald'ruhn who wanted me to persuade her son not to try to become a vampire (great little quest).
There are a lot of people who will speak to you as vampire you just need the patience to find them (no offence intended).
In regards to your questions I'll try to answer them as best I can -
1. Everyone hates you
A lot of people hate you and they might attack you if you speak to them BUT there are people (and factions) in Morrowind who will speak to you.
2. you cannot sell or buy
You can with your clan once you earn their trust...
3.you cannot learn new spells
Same as above.
4.there is no clan you can join
You can't 'join' your vampire clan BUT you can become 'friends' with the clan. I have heard rumours however of renegade groups of vampires...
6. even other vamps want you dead
Other clans will kill you but your own clan will tolerate you enough not to attack you and can even come to like you if your personality increases.
7. you need to kill in order to live (vampires kiss) or is it tuch?
Not to spoil the vampire experience to much for you but at vamp HQs (and maybe smaller tombs) there are 'slaves' called 'cattle' which you can feed on once you get into your clan's 'good books' (the cattle wont attack you either). The cattle won't die if you spread your feeding out over the entire 'herd'.
If your alchemy or magic is good enough you can heal your self anyway...
8. Basically people you cannot do a damn thing except...KILL
Rubbish; there's a lot to do if you speak to the right people. Admittedly many of the vamp quests might require you to kill other vampires.

That is true. You shouldn't become a vampire if you are in the middle of another faction's quests etc (including the main quest). On the other hand becoming a vamp something to look forward to once you've finished with all the other quests.
Basically there's a lot to do at night as a vampire and I doubt I've even scraped the surface of what fun you can have - you just need to know who to speak to and a LOT of patience. :)
