I did the main quest as a vampire by killing Vivec, and consoling in the equipable wraithguard.
But I looked through Yagrum Bagarn's dialogue and notice there is a second way of completing the main quest through Yagrum, and since he talks to vampires;) I was wondering if anyone has kill Vivec, got the unequipable wraithguard and down the main quest this way?

Yes, you're talking about the so-called Back Path. This is an alternate way of resolving the main quest if you messed up the usual way (by killing someone important, most often) You have to kill Vivec and get Wraithguard from his corpse, but it won't "work" - you can't equip and it's just called "Unique Dwemer Artifact" You have to go and show it to Yagrum, and he'll identify it and help you get it to work.

Something else... the 'backpath' Wraithguard isn't the same "handedness" as the normal Wraithguard... and as Vivec still has the "Unique Dwemer Artifact" after he gives you the "real" Wrathguard, you can then kill him and (after 'fixing' the fake one) wear 'em both.

Speaking of vampires, I once made a potion through editor which upon drinking, makes the drinker a vampire.............but only for 1 second.It's kind of weird seeing from outside view a normal face turning ugly and then back to normal in a very short period of time. :ebil:
