I realize that this may be an old topic, but I just have a question that some of you guys might have had before. My character is like level 116 or 117 and I have been playing Morrowind for a long time. I decided to do the vampire quests considering I had done just about everything else in the game with my previous characters. I was just wondering about the Quarra vampire quests. It seems that when I am assigned to do the second mission for them, they don't seem to give enough information about the quest. It says for me to go and gather raw materials (It is highlighted blue when talking about it), but when I go to select "raw materials" it isn't in the selection of topics. I was just wondering if this might happen to be a glich of some kind. If someone has figured out how to get passed this glich or can tell me if it is worth doing, I would appreciate it if you would let me know. I have done Berne vampire quests and if I can't do Quarra because of the glich I will just go and do Aundae vampire quests (even though I am not up for being much of a magic person lol). Ok guys take care. :grr:

Hm. You need:
5 Extravagant Sapphire Amulets
Two portions of Void Salts
A Daedra Heart
Ectoplasm
Vampire Dust
A Skull
The amulets will be your hardest to find. These are commonly found in smuggler caves. Yasami (near Hla Oad) has a few. Cienne Sintieve (alchemist in Ald'Rhun), Miner Arobar (Arobar Manor, Ald'Rhun), and Domesa Sarethi (Sarethi Manor, Ald'Rhun) have some too. I think they're wearing them though... but you're a vampire. What's a little murder?
You can buy the rest froom Telvanni or Mage guild alchemists, or find them in the wild yourself. Void Salts come from Storm Atronachs, Ectoplasm from Dwemer Ghosts, Vampire Dust from Vampires. Skulls are everywhere (try tombs) and Daedra Hearts... well... I'm not sure where to find those.

Daedra Hearts can be found in... Daedras! :cheeky: In particular a slain Ogrim or Clannfear will often yield a heart.

Hey, well i read about u not knowing about where to find Daedra hearts.....and well if you dont want to go kill a Daedra then go to the Daedric ruins East of Gnisis. There's two but if u you go to the lower one there should b some orcs guarding thats the right one. go inside its impossible to get lost. When you reach the shrine room then you will have to put up with a little fight but its well easy. Go up to the shrine and resting there on a plate should be a Daedra's heart! Enjoy....:D (sorry bout the long explanation lol)

Oh with those shrines. One of those items are normally cursed (and only one) so when you pick it up a dremora lord appears behind you. It is normally a pearl or diamond.

Thats lucky then cos i picked up one of each! thnx for the tip....ill bare that in mind next time i try and steal one of the items

I hope in Oblivion you can sacrifice things (and also donate items) to some of the gods. Daedra including. Would be nice to sacrifice a guar or somesuch to Boethiah or something, no?

Sorry for the necromancy, but doesn't the Dremora Lord have a heart as well?
Eightball Maniac on 26/4/2005 at 23:42
Yes. Most Daedra drop hearts, but it seems to be at random without using mods that may alter it. I don't think scamps drop hearts at all, but all other Daedra should at random. I think...
Been a while since I've played after my Morrowind install literally exploded.
