I guess I can do that to avoid the sun, but with the vampire guilds, you can get quests from them. That's why I'm wondering if there are any guilds. I don't think so though, and I'm wondering if they'll ever put a werewolf in one of these elder scroll games. So far only morrwind expansion, but besides that....

Whew. I was afraid I'd botched that up for a second.
One Super Awesome Vampire Thread!

its the second one wit the grey fox nd i need to get sumthin for him in a dungeon and i cant find it.....i went through the whole area n ended up in a tower with like 5 big enemies n a sorcerer.......every time i kill the sorcerer, it ses i hav disobeyed the mages guild b/c i killed a member, but if i dont kill him, i cant do the quest......any suggestion how to do this?

The object you have to steal is on the soceror. Save with his back turn and keep trying to pick his pocket. That's how I passed it. You weren't suppose to kill him, but it's suppose to be in the castle that you can't do it.

aswell as getting the disease in a fight, after completing several quests for the dark brotherhood you are offered the chance to become a vampire.
I always find a good way to feed is to pick a target and follow them around in sneak until you get a moment when no-one can see you, then pickpocket their house key. just drop in later that night and feed =]

Doesn't the door automatically lock after you wait after picking it? That happened to me when I was waiting for the jewlery shop in the imperial city
PeeperStorm on 19/7/2006 at 02:11
The door locking and unlocking is part of the AI of the NPCs that live/work in the shops and houses. It depends on how their individual set of AI packages has been defined. Typically they will "unlock doors" when they get out of bed or arrive at a shop/home, and "lock doors" when they leave or go to bed. I suppose they might do more than one "lock doors" if they are awakened by something and then go back to bed.
