Oh? Hm. I see how that can work. Actually always figured there was only one, it took down nines then came back for you.

Aerothorn you must have another problem. I have 512ram and never have load times even close to that. Saves load quick too. The longest load I have is the downtown hub and it only takes like 30 to 45 seconds. Make sure you have the patch and turn off anything you do not need.

You weren't supposed to fight it... you were just supposed to run like hell for 5 minutes and then back to the lift!
I know. But I stopped playing after getting killed once, and four days later I just couldn't bring myself to pick it up again. Maybe because of the demise of you-know-who during that scene. He was one of the most interesting characters.
I'll probably finish it one day though. Until then, it's sitting there on a shelf gathering dust, making me feel guilty everytime I look at it. :erg:

You-know-who doesn't actually die.
And you should really give it a try again now before you decide you never want to play it again.
Playing as a Malkavian was good fun though, maybe not completely sticking to the way WhiteWolf protrayed them* but it worked great for the game.
*Your character was a little more insane then other Malkavians; the average Malkavian is usually indistinguishable from vampires of other clans, allowing Malkavians to easily spy on them. (usually pretending to be of clan Ventrue)

I was able to finish the zombie mission quite easily using melee only, without using any powers. I don't remember what the weapon was(not the katana though).
I ended up being stuck at the werewolf fight for several hours until I looked at a walkthrough and found out how to kill it.

I never said I wasn't going to finish it. It'll probably take a while before I pick it up again though.

Haven't played it recently, which probably means it's time for another playthrough.
Like Deus Ex, it's one of those games where, every time it's mentioned, someone feels compelled to reinstall.

Too many good new games right now to think about old ones. I might take a look sometime to see where Wesp has gotten with his patch, though.
