Before you beat me over the head with the use search trust me I did have the stuff didnt even use the word Vampire once I think its busted, anyway I have a few vamp questions
1. Can you get vampirism from anyattack like a weapon or just their purple spell
2. what are the general odds
3. I have a common disease resist of 175 and a weakness to common disease of 105 with 5 vamps in the area, is it worth it to even try to get vampirism,eg what are the odds.

1) As far as how you can catch it, I think any attack form will do it but I have to admit I haven't investigated very deeply.
2) Dunno that anyone but the developers know the odds.
3) Probably not worth it; assuming that 100 of that resist is from the corprus cure, and assuming the other 75% is racial, I'd suggest you just make a couple copies of whatever got you your weakness effects (identical effects from copies of an item/spell/whatever do stack, it's just multiple castings from a single item/spell/whatever that don't)

1) If they cast spells on you including the vampire drain (purple swirly spell) then you wont get the disease - you want them to hit you with weapons or fists.
2) I don't know but it seems some vampires are more likely to give it to you than others.
3) It's worth it because there's always the chance but i'd lower it even more if i was you. Out of interest can i ask what your using to lower your common disease resistence?

Umm some constant effect items but the big ones are a cumstom spell with 30 for 20 seconds and an amulet with 40 for 30 seconds. Im at the tomb in balmora with all 5 vampires hitting me so I get hit a ton.
