Anyway, v1.7 is now available on GfWL. I suspect that it will be uploaded to websites fairly soon.
No changelog yet, but you expect the addition of Mothership Zeta achievements.

They can stick their achievements up their ass.

*posts another comment on how Bethesda should burn in a fire for releasing patches that don't actually PATCH the game than add crap to it*
Aaaaaaanyway, maybe after a couple of months they'll start working on a patch that will include fixes for vanilla F3 and its moneygrabbers... I mean DLCs. Of course that's a lot like hoping Santa Claus is real, but meh...

so how do you actually turn achivements on in the pc version of the game.

They're legitimate mini-expansions that add new assets, scenarios, quests, etc. These aren't thrown together half-arsed shit like the Oblivion Horse Armour.
Also HAHA at the thought of Bethesda releasing patches that are worth a shit. (
http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=978437) You'll have to rely on the community to do that with unofficial patches.

I know, hence the Santa Claus comparison. :p

v1.7 undocumented fix
Fixes the crash upon quitting the game if you have Broken Steel installed (in your \Users\[username]\appdata\local\microsoft\xlive\dlc\... folder, rather than \fallout 3\data\).
