Hooray, I applied the new v1.5 patch and it broke the centre mouse button!
Another job well done, Bethsoft.
I can't find a changelog for it, but it's likely nothing more than the Broken Steel achievements.
EDIT: Found an (
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_patch_1.5.0.23) unofficial changelog.

Is it worth installing besides the broken mouse button binding? VATS is sort of slow on the 1.4 patch version :erg:

If you plan on buying Broken Steel, it's likely an essential update.

Update 1.5 Notes (PC and Xbox 360)
New Features
New achievements for Broken Steel
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue with VATS calculations not appearing properly for perks (PC)
Fixed crash related to altered references between master files
LOD objects render properly when loaded from DLC worldspaces
Fixed issue with companion NPCs not loading into cells immediately after player
I'm going to see if it fixes some bugs I have been having.
Broken middle mouse button? Sounds like some fail :(

Well...I have to say its junk.
Enter VATS mode, select a target, exit VATS, crash.
Every single time now. :( Come on Beth fix it up all ready.
EDIT- If I do one shot at a time in VATS it works fine.....wtf?

I'm still waiting for them to fix the perks that don't work in the PC version (but seem to work fine for the consoles): Commmando, Gunslinger, Sniper, Wired Reflexes.
It's like the Sniper perk is cursed. First it's broken in F2 and then again 10 years later in F3.

Do a report, please. The list seems a bit short for a 50 megabyte file.
I only encountered 2-3 crashes so far, but the game drops frame rate insanely during battles which is quite annoying, and VATS is quite slow.

Heres a report:
Fallout 3 doesn't work worth a shit for me anymore. All over the bethsoft forums they are crying about it.
Don't get it.

I'm not really surprised. I haven't got the patch yet, though I doubt it can make it any worse as it already is now (for me at least). I'll probably just play the game again next year, since I doubt they'll actually get everything fixed sooner ("get everything fixed" as in "not bloody crashing randomly"). Maybe this time I can actually finish it properly, since last time it bugged out right at the end (pretty cool huh?)
It just makes me wonder... what the hell are those guys from Beth doing at work all day? I mean besides finding ways of sucking up money with dlcs. Do they get an orgasm every time they see someone reporting a bug and asking for a fix? Because if they do, then they're probably the happiest guys on the planet considering the hundreds (or maybe even more) people reporting bugs, sending angry messages, asking for help and so on.
Wait... is this some kind of new fetish thing that I'm missing out on? :wot:

Well, I must say I just updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers released...today.
And Fallout 3 is working flawless again for me. Haven't had a CTD yet and have been blasting stuff all over the wastes.
*shrugs*
