Hello all,
I have just installed the euro version of the 1.2 patch. I am in the UK.
Whenever I now start the game it goes to load the program and maximise the window when I get a MORROWIND.EXE has caused a fatal exception in MORROWIND.EXE. MORROWIND.EXE will now close :mad:
I have had to completely uninstall the game and reinstall it (repair did not work).
Does anyone know why this has happened and how I can fix it.

Oh, and I am using a UK legit game, not a copy like someone else accused me of :o

Dunno if this would help but posting it anyway.
As to me it sounds like the .exe file is buggered why not no-cd the game? Just grab a no-cd fixed .exe from (
http://www.gamecopyworld.com) GCW, copy the Video folder with all contents from the CD to the install folder on yer HDD and enjoy the game.
Note: Ignore all GCW stuff that patches the .exe's. Better to grab a fixed exe and backup the original in case of something going belly up.

I've had a lot of problems with CD Hacks in the past. especially when you need to patch the game. You restore the proper exe first, patch the game and then when you replace the exe again it does not work as the versions are different (or at least it was the case with MechWarrior 4 and Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcaste)
Thx for the suggestion though Pestilence, I might give it a try and see if it works...I will have to backup all my save games this time though or ill have to start over - as I forgot to do it last time and I deleted all my saves :(
