OK, this may be a few months old, but I haven't seen it posted here and it's not as if this forum is using it's disk quota ;)

He makes good use of the damaged scroll / potion / wand bug, but even so being able to complete the game in about 50 minutes is pretty good going.

Impressive. I'm not sure what the shortest amount of time that I have played through it is as I've never tried. Nothing as short as that though. I usually savour the game and try to build my character up as much as I can.

I am disappointed that he didn't use the 'portal' spell to cheat through the Void. IIRC the whole world can be finished almost instantly just by teleporting through walls.

That's probably for the best. If you haven't played it then a lot of it wouldn't make sense anyway.
Have you played UW1 and just not got round to the sequel?

I'm not too far through UW1 as I don't want to run out of LGS games to play.

Well, savour and enjoy them then. UW2 will probably take you quite a bit longer than UW1 particularly if you explore all the side-areas. Both are fairly replayable too so you can be enjoying them for quite some time...
