Ok, I know it has been a while for most of you...but perhaps someone knows something about this, or has had a similar experience.

Last night playing UW I acquired both pieces of the sword of justice http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif. Exstatic, I ran up to level 2 and went to Shak's room.....yet Shak wasn't there. What I did find however was a pile of gold and a few pieces of chain armor by the privy in his room. I think he may have fallen in and died somehow. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and is there anything I can do here?

I only have two save games, one on level five right before running up to level 2 (I have tried reloading this one several times with the same result - dead Shak). I have another when I was just starting level 3, and he is alive in that game. However, that's a good 5 hours lost there http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif.

ooh..I love that game..

Maybe its a bug..

I killed him once... but after some time he got alive again.. I took a sleep..

LOL that's how I beat the Chaos Knight the first time I fought him... I ran through the level to the trolls and the knights places to try to get them to attack him lol (I think it might have worked with a few knights I'm not sure), then I ran past this place in pretty much the center of the level, the place with all the small lakes (close to where u can swim and get to a little island with a chest on it) and he just fell right into one of those lakes hehe... got the key and voila! Unfortunately his nice sword fell in the lake along with the rest of him http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif

Also happened some other time, I think it was some goblin, either on level 1 or 7. At any rate it was a gray i believe and it had a key to something, and it fell into a little pit of water like that and lost the key so i had to start over (I think it was level 7 'cuz I was stuck behind a portcullis but again I'm not sure).
