http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/mad.gifI think the problem is my soundcard (a diamond monster 3000) because with my old card (a soundblaster clone) I never had this problem. My irq and dma settings and such are OK becouse when I run UWsound it automaticly detects my soundcard.
Anybody got an idea?
Thanks,

Even if Uwsound detects your sound settings, I'd doublecheck them, and if possible, put SB-emulation settings to basic(if they aren't already):
SET Blaster=A220 I7 D1 T4
I've learned that even if some games do find DMA 3 setting, it might not work.
So I always use these basic settings for emulation and rarely have problems.
I'd also check that there's enough base-memory, at least 570 if I recall correctly.
And adding line:
files=50
in config.sys never hurts...
(required for system shock 1 CD version)
