I've been playing the Underworld games for many years now. Once I had solved them both, I still went back to them every now and then to find some more secrets, and to complete my notes. I suppose that most of us compiled quite a large amount of information on these games - on the background of the Ultima series, the NPCs, magical items, scrolls, wands, and so on. What I've always been searching for is a list of the many references and in-game jokes present in both UW games. I just want to give a few examples:
- the Pacman labyrinth in UW1
- the Trilkhai in UW2
- the paintings in Castle British
- the book in Nystul's locked chest
- Warren Spector, who got referenced in both UW1 ("You see an upset spectre named Warren") and UW2 ("Here lies Warrin, chief of servants")
I'm sure that you will remember much more references. It would be great if you could post them here, so that we can assemble a list.
