I'm quite aware I've read of it, but I've never gotten a description. It always just says, "the infamous inventory bug." What exactly is it, and, does it still exist in the CD version of the game?

The inventory bug was only present in the original build. If you have a later build, such as a CD version, then don't patch it as it will ruin your game.

Just in case you were wondering, objects would show up in your sacks (sometimes wierd stuff you wouldn't normally see). Other objects just dissapeared from your inventory or got replaced by something else. Worst of all it always seemed to happen towards the end of the game. Used to happen to me on a CD version that featured Wing Commander II on the flip side.
