what you NEED in autoexec.bat
SET BLASTER=Ix Ay Dz Tt
lh c:\mouse
lh c:{sound card dos driver}
where x is the irq your soundcard is set to (usualy 7 or 5)
y is the IO port (usually 220 or 240) z is the low(8bit) DMA channel (usually 1 or 3) and t is the type of card (I forget which numer coresponds to which card, but 4 is a soundblaster pro 2.0, and 6 is and awe64)
you should replace c:\mouse with the path to your mouse driver, and sound card dos driver with the appropriate path, anything else in autoexec.bat is usually unnecesary
edit:damn thing trying to be clever
nb: set blaster isn't strictly speaking nesseceray (never could spell that word), all it does is save the game you're running from having to ask you how your soundcard is set up

how do you pay when you buy from ebay? I'd like to add uw1 and uw2 to my collection....

I don't know what the problem is with running UW in Windows. It fires right up for me. I just ran UW.BAT from the START=>RUN command and it worked. I still need to work on getting the sound to work though. My USB mouse worked and everything. I don't know maybe I'm just special.

I do that, too. I'm just as special, I guess. ;)
