Don't know if anyone is interested, but I finally got my installation of UW 1 and 2 to work 100% with Windows 98SE (via MS-DOS Mode), using a MS Intellimouse (PS/2) and Sound Blaster PCI-128.
I ask the question, because I have seen other posts on this fourm which provide some answers to the problem of modern hardware and old DOS software, but most did little for my particular setup.
At any rate, if someone would like some more pointers of how to get UW to work with an Intellimouse and SB PCI-128, let me know.
If not, I am happy to spend my time in the glory of mouse-driven, MIDI-enhanced underworld... :cool:

If it's not too much bother, please do explain how to do it -- that way if someone is having problems in the future, they can search the forum and find your answers...
As time marches on, it seems to get continually harder to get the old games working, so the more information we have the better!

Its probably about time that we put our heads together and come up with a solid FAQ for the Underworld games and post it up at the Stgyian-Abyss site, so that it becomes more accessable to people who havent played it yet.
