Hi there,
Well, I've been utterly stuck on Deck 1 Engineering for almost a week now - I know, a bit embarrassing to admit :wot: . Rather I've just been hopelessly jogging around Deck 1 - killing everything, hacking everything, collecting everything, going everywhere, etc, but not doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
Anyway, I've been unable to complete the following tasks:
Use Fluidics Computers in Engine Control to purge the tubes
Purge radiation from Coolant Tubes to re-open Engine Core
Reset Main Power at the Engine Core to restart the elevators
Of course (?), I've been unable to complete the above tasks as I been unable to access or find Engine Control - yes, I do have the code. In the end, I always seems to end up staring forlornly at the Core Access Control Computer - hoping it will let me through to the next 'level'. But it never does.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Yes, I've been to the walkthroughs - Can of Worms, etc. But I just end up getting more baffled and hence even more frustrated.
Any assistance greatly appreciated,
cheers,
itsonlydanny

This should be in the Hints and Spoilers forum.
Heading from the Cargo bays, go straight through some sets of large large doors until you see a gravshaft on your left. The Fluidics Control computer is up there.

Hi Nameless,
Still stuck - no idea where this gravshaft is! What exactly do you mean by "heading from the Cargo Bay" - from which direction, and going where, etc? Me, I'm just getting more and more baffled by this section of the game
I won't ask any more questions though, seeing how this is in the wrong forum!
cheers,

I wouldn't worry about not posting in this thread any more, it's not much of a concern when the community's this size, and if a mod feels the need, he can move the thread anyway.
The gravshafts you should be looking for are near the start of the corridors that lead from where the big column with Xerxes face on it is, to the cargo bay/bridge section. You know where you get the hallucination type thing where the many talk to you? It's before then. Just walk up and down that straight line of corridors checking the walls for gravshafts.
Hope that helped a bit :erg:

From the elevator doors: to the East (0° on the compass) there is a Quantum Bio-Reconstruction Machine. To the West (180° on the compass) is a door. Go through that door, up a short ramp, through another door, around a corner and into a room with a large pillar covered in Xerxes screens. Go through a set of large cargo doors into a corridor. At the end of the corridor is another set of large cargo doors, which lead to another short section of corridor. At the far side is anothre set of cargo doors, but you don't want to go through those. The gravshaft going up the fluidics control computer is just on your right.

Hi again,
Thanks for help! of course, I am completely stuck again - this time on Deck 3 Hydroponics
Yes, I'm wandering around and around yet again. I cannot get to Sectors A & D, as I do not have the access cards. Nor can I find them. Yes, I've placed Toxin A in two of the Environmental Regulators - and I've got two vials of Toxin A left. But that is it. I just cannot progress - very frustrating, I can tell you :grr:
Any ideas as to where I'm going wrong?
cheers,

In sector B, you should find two access cards, one for B (not much use now), and one for A. The one for A is I think near the regulator.

Good grief - I made it to Deck 4, only to be seriously spooked by Shodan. Still, I'm getting well-and-truly creamed by spider things - just after Xeres announced that a protocol droid will be reciting poetry! :laff:
cheers,
