You already know by now that Thief 4 has been played by a lot of people but not many of those players have heard of the original Thief. Well, I have an idea. :)
I've started streaming Thief Gold, Thief 2, and some fan missions on a site called Twitch, which is a popular livestreaming platform. Hardly anybody else is streaming Thief 1 or 2, but the potential to bring new players to the community is massive. Twitch sorts its games and streamers into categories based on number of live viewers. The more viewers watching a particular game or streamer, the higher the game is positioned on the search engine.
If some of us were to stream Thief Gold, some of our viewers will be curious to try out Thief Gold and Thief 2. Once they're done playing the main games, they'll naturally want to see if there is any community content (which there is a metric ton of!). Some may even come to TTLG and support the overall growth and development of Thief, DromEd, Fan Missions, etc.
I'm the only regular streamer on Twitch who plays a lot of old-school Thief. I think people like FenPhoenix would have a phenomenal time on Twitch, streaming Thief! :joke:
This is my Twitch channel, for those who want to see what it's all about:

By the way, Twitch can also be used as a platform to showcase the development of fan missions. Beta testing and community feedback will be much more closely-knit!

I used to come there just to see if any thief1 or 2 was being streamed, but don't login anymore unless I hear of it happening first hand here. Glad to see more action for thief there. Will check it out.
