Hrm, there's a lot of info on getting closed captioning working with mkv files and the like with PS3MS, but not much on DVDs as far as I can see. :erg:

You mean, the PS3 does CC but only with a component cable? Weird... Ah well. It's not a biggie. Cheers.

TVersity is awesome. I've had some very, very rare and intermittent issues, but otherwise it's rock solid.
edit: getting stuff like closed captions and subs is always going to be a pain though

In the US, any TV made after I think 1993 or so has to have CC built in- they're standard now.

Something to do with the data sent over the HDMI cable or something. Afaik.
