Is it possible to change one's username on the TTLG forum, or at least request a name change? I've been long since trying to phase out "Buccura" in favor of "Bucky Seifert", because well, Buccura is a name I came up with when I was 16 and going through a hardcore weeb phase. I'm quite tired of it :laff:

It's not possible to do it yourself, but if you ask one of the admins they might do it for you.
That's how I got rid of that annoying underscore I used to have.

I never noticed you'd lost your underscore NV.
It is possible, Buccara, but can sometimes be problematic, for example, if you're addressed by name in a post and that name no longer exists then it could cause a lot of head scratching.
I should think it'd be OK but our leader must give the final word. :)

As nickie says, it's something that is possible but can cause confusion - particularly if someone is well known under a username and then changes to something completely different. We've also had instances of people who have wanted their names changed multiple times on a whim - you can imagine why that is less than desirable! If you still want to go ahead then send nickie or myself a PM and we will take care of it.
