how do i recognize skill books from the common books? is there any list with the tittles of the skillbooks? How many hours of gameplay can this game offer :D?

Skill books usually have icons on their covers for the ability they raise.
The game features infinite randomly generated tasks, so you can play it for all eternity.

Don't worry, Cardia. You're allowed to stop any time you want.

:laff:...i feel a bit confused, i don´t know how to find a suitable gameplay for me in this game, i mean i want to do all side quests, but i don´t want to spend alot of months playing this game, how long did Oblivion took you to finish?

The random sidequests are usually given by the innkeepers or the Jarls in towns. They look at how you like to play the game, and give you a quest tailored around that. Usually they're bog standard "we'll give you money for offing a bunch of bandits over in Fort X" type missions, so you won't be missing out on any big quests or plot points by ignoring them.
They're there to pad out the gameplay, and get you extra money or equipment.
edit: I played Oblivion for about 9 hours before I got bored of it. Shivering Isles was a little better, but...eh.

i talk to everyone that has a singular name, some of them give me quests, i plann to aid them all, its a pity that there is no status showing if your actions are good or bad like in fallout 3.
i thinking i will try to avoid trespassing private property and rooms, there´s never anything new to see, except troubles with the local guards and a sight from another cloned area.
the new musics are beautifull, although i don´t like the musics from morrorwin or oblivion that they placed here, it just makes me feel like i´m playing oblivion again, got to replace them...
the design outside is really fine, despite the artificial brightness that creates a kitch atmosphere.

I'd say if you want to do everything in Skyrim it would take you about 200 hours.
Dia on 29/11/2011 at 13:28
At about 140hrs. I just discovered a new town. Looking at the map I'm thinking there is a lot more out there I haven't discovered yet. I think at 200hrs. I'll probably still be doing side-quests. ;)
And hopefully by then Beth will have released the Creation Kit.
Just wish there was a happy medium wherein shadows weren't so absolute and bright light wasn't so very blinding.

200 hours!!!...well since i only play one hour per day, then that would mean i would take around 7 or 6 months to play this game....well then i guess i´ll only stick to the main goals.
i remember i took 2 months to finish fallout 3 and its expations (one hour per day) and i did all kind of quests, but i never thought that this game would have much more goals than fallout 3 or new vegas.
