I suppose I should count myself lucky to have completed the game when we were still using the one stalker megathread. The safest thing to do if you want a completely unspoiled game is to complete it before you visit the forums on it, since someone is bound to inadvertently spoil something for you.

This is true, but one of the benefits when visiting a forum which includes spoiler tag functionality is the hope that people will use them.
Also, with a game this good, you've GOT to vent your spleen somewhere about it.
I'm beginning to feel like this point may be getting a little laboured though - I'm not pissed about it, but felt the need to point out that a little bit of thunder had been stolen.

Problem with this: Dynamic Lighting is FUBARed on 8800 GTX. I'm going to download updated shaders mod from Stalkerfront to see if that fixes it.

Theres still respawn. Just NOWHERE NEAR as much as there used to be.
