Remember the last election when Republicans forged election documents in order to overturn the results? Can you imagine the shitstorm that would have happened if any Democrat had ever done that? Can you imagine what would have happened if Biden had tried to call election officials to pressure them to change the outcome? Republicans get away with pretty much everything, including an insurrection where people assault a government building and drag cops down the stairs while beating them with flagpoles and tazering them. And was there any condemnation of that on their side? No, in their minds these people did nothing wrong and should be pardoned.
WILL be pardoned now. Also don't forget that RippedPhreak predicted that Democrats would act like Republicans do when they lose an election. Yeah. He is as right about things as always.

So, how much should the US invade Mexico?

Within Donald Trump's government-in-waiting, there is a fresh debate over whether and how thoroughly the president-elect should follow through on his campaign promise to attack or even invade Mexico, as part of the “war” he's pledged to wage against powerful drug cartels.
“How much should we invade Mexico?” says a senior Trump transition member. “That is the question.”
It is a question that would have seemed batty for the GOP elite to consider before, even during Trump's first term. But in the four years since, many within the mainstream Republican centers of power have come around to support Trump's idea to bomb or attack Mexico.
Trump's Cabinet picks, including his choices for secretary of defense and secretary of state, have publicly supported the idea of potentially unleashing the U.S. military in Mexico. So has the man Trump has tapped to be his national security adviser. So has the man Trump selected as his “border czar” to lead his immigration crackdowns. So have various Trump allies in Congress and in the media.

Please go on with the assault, so we can finally put a bunch of nails in the coffin of "Republican are against the wars" if Israel unhinged support (remember when Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem?) is not seen as real as it is.
USA can invade Mexico, Russia Ukraine and Israel Lebanon, all for "absolutely sane security reasons"......so we're left with Germany and Poland and we're golden with the "Invade your weak neighbor and dominate, it's just right and even good!" criterion of a sane democracy.
Thanks from the ones who never believed in the "democracy god" (being a mask for a consensus-based dictatorship) :D

They're talking about invading Cuba too.
John Bolton used to talk Monroe Doctrine when he was Trump's national security advisor, so this isn't really new, but maybe a surprise to the isolationists who don't remember.

So if they're going to emulate Fallout 3, annex Canada while you're at it.

And the source for this is? If this is intended to be a boycott list, a little transparency would help sell it.
Some of these are sort of expected, but many do not check out with OpenSecrets.org or other searchable sources. Also, most publicly traded companies donate to both parties situationally.
And they are not so "BIGLY". Here is the Open Secrets page for the first one on the list, Auto Zone:
(
https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/autozone-inc/summary?id=D000024208) https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/autozone-inc/summary?id=D000024208
The headline number for Auto Zone is only $104k in total, and only $15k of that was from the PAC representing the company, the rest was from owners and employees of Auto Zone, who donated $15685 to Trump, $8336 to Harris, and the rest to other Republicans. The $15k in PAC money went to the incumbent Senator and US House member for the district where the company is headquartered in Memphis. That's hardly boycott worthy stuff in my opinion.
Continuing across that first line... ACE Hardware contributes to both sides. Arby's is part of Roark, who does too. Ashley Furniture is a somewhat known Republican contributor. Bausch and Lomb surprises me. I can't seem to find anything on Google about Bausch and Lomb political donations recently. They were bought by a Canadian private equity firm in 2007. Dunno where she got that one.
"Buick Cadillac" I assume that's a specific car dealer, but which one? And why is Tesla not on this list?
I could go on obviously. I think Karen has some work to do and I hope nobody decides not to patronize one of the companies without checking for themselves.

Aren't a bunch of these owned by Warren Buffett? :laff:
