Exactly.
In 2023 and 2024, Bessent donated more than $1 million to Donald Trump's 2024 campaign.[29]
In February 2024, Bessent hosted a fundraiser in Greenville, South Carolina, that raised nearly $7 million for Trump's 2024 campaign.[30] In April 2024, Bessent was a host for a Palm Beach, Florida, fundraiser that raised $50 million for the Trump campaign.[31] In July 2024, Bloomberg Businessweek reported that Bessent was a key economic advisor to Trump. Are you saying his top notch Nobel-tier intelligence voters are in the know of this?
Because that's a legit (liberist) paradigma for USA.....I'm just remembering that to his
brown shirts supporters maybe not to fond of Besset's choice :p
Trump needs to keep the markets happy, not to mention the economy. Much to the dismay of my paleoconservative friends, he won't put a Mises Institute crackpot in charge of federal borrowing and co-managing the world's primary reserve currency. Jamie Dimon and John Paulson were thought to be at the top of his list, but they made themselves unavailable.

So he escaped justice. Lucky him.

It was bound to happen no matter what.
But anyway they were dismissed without prejudice, which means they can and I'm sure will be reinstated the moment he is out of office.
He just escapes justice if he dies in office.

Yeah it's a good lesson here for the Right. The Right is way too ready to forgive and try to come together in unity with their opponents to move forward and make the country better.
The Left never makes this mistake. The Left viciously pursues their enemies across the globe until the day they die. Never giving an inch and never letting the enemy get a moment of peace or rest. The Right needs to treat the Left in this same manner (as the Left is treating Trump) or they will never win.

The way too forgiving Right that relentlessly pursued and investigated the Clintons for 2 decades? That proudly exclaimed that their mission in life was to make Obama a one term president or at least thwart any and all legislation he might put forward? Yeah, right.
Also, it's not like there is any doubt here. Everybody heard the phone call where Lord Dampnut tried to get an election official to find him more votes. Everybody saw his supporters attack the Capitol. Him stealing secret documents from the White house and refusing to give them back is public record. And not to mention that this is the guy who stole money from a charity, ran a fake university that scammed people, has a long history of not paying people, etc.
Lawfare? No. Fair law.

No, you don't get it. I truly admire how ruthless the Left is. The Right is so weak and "nice" it sickens me.
In a just world, both Clintons and Obama would be sitting in courtrooms defending themselves (or possibly in prison) for the rest of their lives. They are free and making millions in "speaking fees" i.e. bribes - every year only because the Right is so soft and useless, and can't get anything done.

Are you a joker or just mad? :|
OK, so the "left" has won. With Bush too.

Well, you'll always have neo Nazis and school shooters.

It's just that the Left commits huge, world-changing crimes without a shred of evidence being left behind that they did it or even that a crime has been committed at all.
The Right commits crimes in plain sight, with evidence laid out for all to see, yet when there is even the tiniest chance of accountability, it's suddenly political persecution.
Remember the last election when Republicans forged election documents in order to overturn the results? Can you imagine the shitstorm that would have happened if any Democrat had ever done that? Can you imagine what would have happened if Biden had tried to call election officials to pressure them to change the outcome? Republicans get away with pretty much everything, including an insurrection where people assault a government building and drag cops down the stairs while beating them with flagpoles and tazering them. And was there any condemnation of that on their side? No, in their minds these people did nothing wrong and should be pardoned.
