I got a Franklin says that they snuck that provision past tRump like Radar O'Reilly used to get requisitions signed by his CO.
But sure, MX, let's just ignore the fact that tRump tried to get rid of Obama Care for four years and is pledging to do exactly that, if elected. And let's just ignore the fact that tRump denied saying he would repeal Obama Care, even though he has said exactly that repeatedly, for the past four years and throughout the campaign.
Deny, deny, deny.

He just doesn't like being called stupid for being conservative, which is understandable.

Except that the ACA actually IS affordable. I know. I HAVE it.
That statement is anecdotal though. One person out of roughly 350 million isn't evidence of affordability.

Also, I woke up too early, I'm sick, and I stopped drinking coffee. :erg:

Oh I don't think conservatives are stupid. The rich ones know they will get tax breaks in the millions. It is self centered and cold hearted knowing the poor and middle class will suffer but not stupid for the rich to support them. It's also reckless to play with society the way they do just for the wealthy to benefit. We've seen it over and over how bubbles burst but they don't have to worry.
Some even have morals. We have seen it in Liz Chaney, Mike Pence, and Mitt Romney when they refused to go along with the wrong Trump has done. I still consider myself somewhat conservative. But to give up all principles for one man as if he were some sort of God? Yeah. THAT is stupid. And worse, it's the sort of sickness that allows dictators. I never would have thought we could be so stupid and immoral. He is so crass and obvious too. It's not like he is smooth and a great talker, he just plays to hate constantly. Isn't it stupid to vote against your own interest and that of the nation because you hate immigrants and liberals? The man would not accept a loss graciously to the point he would rile up a redneck army to keep him in power though he knew he lost. He even tried to talk governors into "finding" him votes. He would rather he win than the country keep it's most precious ideals.
I don't know. Is it stupid to be so devoted to one person you turn a blind eye to so much or is it evil?

Gee I guess the other millions on it are on it because it's not affordable huh? I've compared it with my son in law who has Blue Cross that is state mandated for teachers and on every level it beats his.

Looking at it through a Biblical lens, we are all fallen. In order to reach heaven on earth, we would all need to have enormous capacity for sacrificing our own will and serve the smallest and the weakest (and Jesus didn't come to establish a political or earthly kingdom, but rather to free us from spiritual bondage and sin). This is very far from politics today, and certainly far from Trump's behaviour. But the main point I want to say is that in order for us to call something evil (or good for that matter), we need to have at least some kind of basis for morality.
It is an important discussion. I've been meaning to talk about this here for some time now, but I have been so busy lately, plus I still have a long todo-list of replies to write on that other thread. Thanks Starker for being so patient with me. I haven't forgotten our conversation.

Yeah. It's called social adaptation and it evolves naturally in all social creatures, even social insects. Nothing biblical about it.

The only basis for morality that should be necessary is altruism. I don't need some fairy tale written by farmers thousands of years ago to help me determine what is good/bad.

SPAM RISK: Egypt
That's how tRump's burner phone identified itself on a call made to the House Speaker of Michigan. In that call, tRump tried to persuade the Speaker to throw him Michigan's Electoral College votes.
Clearly this was totally legitimate, exempt Presidential business, too important to be routed through the White House switchboard...
