Urban exploration (My SAFE mod journey)

Would it be possible to explore the game with all the monsters/NPC's and everyone else intact, except they totally ignore you and you can't die? So much interesting stuff happens that has nothing to do with the player, I'd hate to lose all that. It would be fun though to just be an observer, finding interesting places to observe from.

I've lost interest in doing this since I couldn't get it to stop crashing. Must have been some kind of conflict in the mods. I'll mess around with it eventually
