What a campaign, thanks Beltzer! I think the first mission was my favorite. That time limit in Mission 3 had me reloading a lot.

Beltzer on 6/11/2018 at 20:46
You're welcome Spyrano :)
downwinder: There is a time limit. You have until 6 in the morning, when all things blows up.

Finished M1. Gads, is there a town nearby. I killed off everyone but the sheriff and left their bodies(32, maybe a few more) in the streets and there still looking for a thief? hehe.
Anyway, I didn't need the advise of my elven ancesteral spirit guides to tell me I was being set up once again. Probably by the Sheriff, who was being used by the scepter owner, who initially made a bad pact with the demons to defile a primordial sacred spot...
Replayed M1: Specter scepter owner didn't destroy the zombies so had to use a Flash Bomb and Fire Arrow to finish them each off. Managed to get 8 Skull Guards, 3 by backstab the rest via equipment(6 arrows(1 used for gatehouse guard), 2 mines, 1 flash mine and sword. I considered the hook a junk item since it is more fun to KO the mansion guard myself. Maybe if the gate was locked on Expert it would be useful. Mechanist letter kept reproducing, thinking the room got reset too(door closing when left open).
Fun so far, <2 hours without personal storyline crap.
Finished M2, Great Fun
Killed everyone before changing clothes, so who opened the gate? Must be the Specter Mage as the sheriff high-tailed it after ordering a cleanup of my bloody mass ritual. The Purse and Box can be gotten through the mystics handle-less hatch. Didn't get why the warehouse guy was there, nothing other then him morning his loss. Thanks for the Rope Arrows they helped kill off the gate guards.
M3 & M4 quick but satisfactory
M3 4th floor Room containing the lantern doesn't AutoMap. M3 Ending cutscene is a bit wacky; looks like a bad recording at Normal level with the HP and light gem graphics visible. M4 my storyline is the old thief use to waylay people that needed disappearing and sold them to the Asylum, which was the workplace of the Spectral Mage which used prisoners for magic 'book of the dead' experiments, the sheriff provided unauthorized criminals, vagrants and pagans to the Asylum(no jail in the village). The Mages village residence was most likely the one with the Fireplace lite; his 'mask' is also seen at the spooky house bedroom.
Why the thief wanted Garrett dead? He is old. Perhaps he didn't want to live(crippled/cane in room) but considers suicide a taboo, Garrett made lots of enemies in his lifetime...

Beltzer, I really enjoyed this campaign, but it would have been nice to have a final confrontation with the old guy. It was kind of a let down to just creep up behind him and wack him without knowing WHY he put me through all this. Would have been cool to have him at least explain why he did what he did and then have one last tussle. Just my two cents worth. Like I said, it was still enjoyable.;)

I thought that was very cathartic. Don't know why you're messing with me, and I don't care, but you messed with the wrong person! Seems very Garrett-like.

Anyone getting static sound instead of background music at the cemetery? playing 1.2
My guess is that this happens because of the sound file played there, snd\gravewhisp.wav. It is encoded with 48 kHz and 32-bit sound samples. Everything above 44,1 kHz and 16-bit samples sometimes causes problems, depending on what version of Thief one is using, and which sound card, and which Windows version.
If you know how to do it, you can install the mission in FMSel (by right-clicking onto it and selecting "Install"). But do not start it yet. Then, you delete the file FMs\MortuosLiberCampaign-v1_2\snd\gravewhisp.wav inside your Thief game folder (but NOT anything in the MortuosLiberCampaign-v1.2
.zip file!), play the mission (loading a saved game from before is completely O.K.) and listen to what happens now at the cemetary. If the static is gone, then most likely the encoding of that sound is the culprit.
But since my systems play the sounds on the cemetary flawlessly, I cannot be sure what's wrong.

I think it is called "the hideout" because in german is it this translation for "das Versteck".
I am stuck in the state, where I could open the wall by touching the glyph. After this i try to full fill the objective "Find hints" but only some arrows and loot and lockpicks and the ring were to find. Where are hints hiding ? The game machine have no frobbable parts and I found only two papers to read.

The game machine has no use. You just have to not be seen by the guards, search each and every room an then go back to the double doors room and the double doors on your left should be open by now. Kill that man standing there and throw him in the pit. Then return to the gamemachine area and now you can open the double doors. That's the way out.
