used the victrola on the mirror, and got the book. I also got the gem from the roof statue. What else do I need to do?

Fun mission so far!! In Mission 3, I turned on the power, went back upstairs and opened the doors to the main lobby. Now I'm stuck. I have the statue but can't figure out what to do with it. Please spoil me! Thanks.

I must be dumb in mission 1. Everyone else seems to have found it easily. where is the hook that I think I need to use on a cable to get into a mansion?
