Thank you for this tremendous effort and for taking care of this classic old milestone FM, and insuring it can be played by future taffers, Robin.

It may not have been necessary after NewDark 1.26 since it seemed to have fixed the mask issues with the original version but maybe the edits done will make it more compatible with NewDark and less prone to break in the future. I personally ran 4 runs (both routes on Expert and then Impossible difficulties) and ran into no major issues other than the knockout drops bottle issue bug that got fixed and was probably extant in the original anyway.
The mission has aged pretty well. I guess it's a bit jarring as it always was in the original in terms of suspension of disbelief on impossible difficulty though, since it's all just engine/game-mechanic knowledge to avoid detection even as you're in plain sight out in full light and just avoiding being in the range of the AI's vision cone. On the other difficulties you have access to ability to turn off lots of the lights.

I haven't played this in so long I was happy to see this update. I played it three times this week just to try all the objectives etc
All the voice acting was good but loved the sound of Msledd voice. Nice tribute one of the best missions ever.

I just finished this, playing on ND v1.26 and Expert difficulty. This is a great FM, but I encountered a technical issue.
AFAIK it worked fine until I used an invisibility potion to enter the Pearl gambling hall (the one with all the people in it) so as to turn out the light. From that point on, wherever I was in the mission, I could no longer see the weapon I was using in the bottom right of the screen. The weapon was visible in the bottom left of the screen, but not in my hand bottom right. I could use the weapon, but I had to use it blind - I could not see the dagger or blackjack in my right hand, I could see an arrow when I went to fire it but I had no bow sight.
I also copied 4 documents but the general objective to copy documents did not tick off. I couldn't find any more copy kits so, as the objective was optional, I left it. But this, I suspect, is simply me missing something in the game.

The first one is not a bug with this mission. It happens with the game in general.
The copy kit objective hasn't changed since the original release, so I'm not sure why it's not working as expected. However, I didn't have any involvement in setting up that system so I don't know if it's working as intended, albeit not as expected, or if a bug has developed.
One of the copy kits was moved for this version, but only to the next room.
New location: top floor offices, small office next door to the one with the fish on the desk.

I have not encountered this bug before. What triggers it, taking an invisibility potion?
