This is a thread for general random things that cause puzzlement and confusion. You find a corpse, a treasure in an unlikely place, an unexplained note and ask around about it.
The only ones I can think of right now are a sunken ship up in Sheogorad entirely fully of pillows with a note in it that says they were to be delivered to the rat lady in Balmora. Probably just a joke, but interesting anyway. I tried to carry all the pillows to her, but nothing happened. Seems like it ought to be a quest.
The other one is a dead body behind a locked door in the Balmora Morag Tong. This seems like there really ought to be an explanation, but although I've been in every guild and probably talked to every single npc in the game, I never found an explanation. Any ideas?

I believe you have to take the invoice found with the pillows to the pillow lady, and you get a reward then.
No idea about the corpse.
I do have a few unsolved mysteries, but will have to check my inventory for them.

2. the corpse i think is eno hlaalu's son cuz he has the same last name. i think it will be a quest for the morag tong cuz he also had an amulet.

Hlaalu is a fairly common name in the word of Morrowind. Compare it to the name Johnson, there's many people with the last name of Johnson but are they all related?

After a year and a half of playing MW I've come across many things that made me scratch my head and go "Wha?" but now I can't remember any of them :erg:
Wait, there was a note pinned to the door of one of the Dunmer strongholds from one thief to another ( I think) with some stuff about the loot and a meeting place...in fact I have hazy memories of a few such notes found in caves and tombs. I never managed to find the authors or the intended recipients of said notes...anyone else have any luck with this?

In the bottom of a river in Solstheim I found a magic short sword (the kind Riklings use). It has a special name and everything, but I've yet to discover a quest attached to it.
I know what Jordana's talking about too, I think. There was some note on a stronghold door warning about magic transporting you to some cavern instead of the otherside of the door and 'trapping' you inside (not really.) That seemed pointless.

Wasn't that in Indoranyon? The one where the nutty enchant master trainer is? I'm sure there is a quest to go there, that is, there is more than one reason to go there, not just to get trained. Can't remember, though.
There are some notes in Master Aryon's basement, hinting at a horror that lurketh beneath, but I never investigated these.

Sword is just a random easter egg, I remember finding it, it is in the river in north of Thormoor's(whatever the name is) watch.
The note is to warn low level characters to carry intervention scroll because you have to fight through the whole place to find the exit, it was placed there as a warning but tryed to look like it was nature. Personally I liked that idea.
I am pretty sure the quest wih the corpse was a House Hlaalu quest, or some other guild. It was one of those quests which you don't 'need' to do and you can only do at a certain point(like if you are telivanni you can go around and get a quest from each patron ONLY when you are a mouth)
Jordana: 2 years playing plus 1 year modding, and I know this every random tomb inside out. About a month ago I actaully found a daedric site I hadn't been to.
