There is some strange things hanging over from the Morrowind main quest. For instance the ash statues. Some NPCs say that Dagoth Uhr was placing ash statues all over Vvvanderfel for what purpose ?
The robots get out power when they get far away from the volcano.
The ghosts of the Dwarven are they really ghosts or materializations from another plane ?
There is also an hint from some ashlander that the player dreams are not the players dreams but experiences from the first Nerevar.
The strange connection with the three Temple members with three Daedras.
The chance that Dagoth Uhr wasnt really dead because he was still bound to the disapearing elves and the info in some book that the harth of Lorkhan cannot be destroyed only banned.
The msitery of the dwarves disapearance and the Nerevar death is not very clear.
With all these misteries left over from Morrowind, Tribunal seams to be a very interesting puzzle play.

To hell with that, where's the part about me becoming my own god? Vivec, you lied to me! You paid with your life, but I must seek god.. goddome in Tribunal. It is required!
Forsythe on 12/11/2002 at 18:04
*grin* Too bad, then, as you can't there either. Oh, and that's "godhood"; your variant just sounds like you're swearing :cheeky:

That lying sob needs to die! Wait, I've killed him thrice over... (Vivec)
I should edit the quest's text just to spite Vivec...

About the ash statues:
As far as I understand it( in a quest for House Radoran, they hint at it), the ash statues work like a guiding beacon for Dagoth's minions. There are some houses where the owner and his family got killed and coprus stalker and the likes moved in after an ash statue was brought to the house.
So, I'd say the statues help dagoth ur to further his influence even more
about the dwarven ghosts:
I think they really are the ghosts of the Dwemer. And the reason why they attack the plazer ( as do the robots): they died in a time when the Dwemer were at war, therefore they might believe they are still in a war.
But since we don't know what really happened to the dwemer, there is the chance that they are from another plane ( but isn't death not also another plane?)
the robots:
not really sure what you mean.
But seeing( or hearing) as the robots are steampowered, I would say that for maintenance the robots require immense amounts of heat, which would be easily available at the volcano but not the further on goes from it.
death of nerevar:
For me it is actually very clear. Go to the Secret Library in Vivec , temple.
There are two stories about Nerevar, dagoth Ur, the Tribunal and the final battle.
The stories are not as conflicting as they appear, and are very interestant.
about the hint from the ashlander concerning dreams:
The ashlanders believe in the rebirth of Nerevar.
You are Nerevar Reborn.
That means you ARE Nerevar.
Therefore it only seems natural for an ashlander with his belief to think that way.

Just two quick things...
1) The Dwarven ghosts... they're ghosts. When exploring certain ruins in Tribunal, you find little pile of ash all over with weapons, books, keys, etc. scattered around as if they were burnt to a crisp in the middle of doing something.
2) The robots. They don't need to be near the volcano for steam power; else, they couldn't run very well off in ruins that've been submerged in water with no steam available. (I'm referring to the ruins you find in a grotto south of Ebonheart) Nevermind that they run perfectly well around the lvl3 Telvanni stronghold... and there's no refilling station there.
(Btw, we don't really know what happened to Nerevar... "Was he murdered or not?" is the key [and unanswered] question)

The Dwemer vanished. That doesn't mean that the Ghosts of the Dwemer cannot be summoned. These apparitions may have died before the Battle at Red mountain.
The Dwemer constructs are not only powered by steam, but by another, as yet unknown, power source. The story I belive he is refering to is the one regarding a merchant capitain carrying some Dwemer spiders as cargo. When he went a certain distance from Vvardenfell, they constructs stopped. He then turned around and the constructs started again. Not sure exactly what it means.
Are you Nerevar? Indeed you could be. Although, it may just be coincidence - You are in the right place at the right time. I'm pretty sure that it's up to you (as the player) to decide.
As for the dreams - most of the Dreamers you encounter have had similar dreams as well. They just wern't strong enough to break Dagoth Ur's hold on them. He is trying the same trick on you.
And as to what happened to Nerevar... that depends on if you believe the secret message of the 36 Sermons of Vivec or not! ;)

Hmm that's interesting, about how you think Dagoth might be only banned I think you are right. After you beat it and talk to Vivec he says Dagoth is dead, if you can really kill a god which he said he doesnt' belive is possible (besides if he's dead where's the fun in a sequel). About the dwarfs I dont know. The game always tries to make a mystery of what happened to the Dwemer, but if you see dwemer ghosts everywher it's kinda obvious. After looking at forscythes text though I think that the ghosts are ghosts but probably died of an unrelated sircumstance. And as for you being the Nerevar
doesnt azura kind of pointedly say you are the nerevar 1. when you get the ring which would only be given to the Nerevar and 2. I think she tells you you are the Nerevar to your face (not sure though)
