Metalhead dog tags? Seriously?
Losing £26.50 isn't enough of a penalty for that crime against fashion.
And a CAP! Trendy stuff for every DnB party.
Post charge is included.

So I found some time to fill out the extensive complaint form for Customer Direct and I'm awaiting their response.
Actually one thing is itching my head now... they no longer offer caps on their online store. Maybe they forgot to remove the caps from the site when they ran out of supplies and they didn't have them already at the time when I made the order. And they kept the money and pretend they've sent me those things.
If it's so... those baaastards.
Thanks stormbringer, I will consider that if Consumer Direct won't be able to help me out.

Funny though, I ordered some tidbits from the States before and they weren't held by customs for too long. :erg:
Well, i bought four stuff from ebay recently, three from UK one from the States and customs office inspected only the one that came from the US. And i don't know the regulations in Slovakia, but here, i was notified by post that they wanted open my package. So i think that customs shouldn't bother you for inside EU postal matters, but even if so, they should notify you.

Absolutely right.

Customs never seem to open international eBay packages here in Ireland. They just believe the "GIFT" that the sellers always stamp on them, I guess.

I just received a USB LED snake lamp for my after-dark laptop excursions from Hong Kong to OH, USA (through Ebay). It arrived in 5 days, with 'Gift' checkmarked. It wasn't opened, inspected, or otherwise scrutinized in the least.
I think you have a problem on your hands.

In America, you just sue the shit out of them.

Gunsmoke you silly... few weeks ago I gave away a nice USB set (with snake lamp, optical minimouse and several cellphone charging adapters included) for FREE. I won it and I didn't need it. You could have just asked me. :p

Did you pay by credit card?
Dunno how it works at your end, but in the UK the credit card company is equally liable if the company you bought from fail to come up with the goods. That means that people in the UK can get the cash back from their credit card company if they buy something that they don't ever get.
Rogue Keeper on 25/5/2009 at 10:32
Debit card.
Now listen EU folks, in case something similar happens to you, your place is :
EUROPEAN CUSTOMER CENTRE @ (http://www.ukecc.net)You contact the ECC subsidiary in your country (under Ministry of Economy in case of Slovakia) and submit them your complaint.
And let the authorities to deal with ignorant morons. They (hopefully) push them around a bit according to applicable laws.
Now I presume I shall wait few more weeks...

It has just come to my attention about your missing order. Really sorry that
it has taken this long to sort out. I have refunded the money to you today,
as the cap that you wanted is no longer available.
Please accept my apologies from Metalheadz for keeping you waiting.
Ryan
And I had to bother you through the authorities to get my money back, right.
I still want the MH cap but I don't trust them anymore.
Case closed.
PS : My SPECIAL THANKS goes to Matthew for finding me their postal address, which has undoubtfully proved useful for my complaint to ECC. See you at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, I'll buy you a Milky Way Pizza! =)
