When I try to save map with WATtile mesh, I get warning message:
"The following meshes have unpublished skins: [...] You should not save the map without publishing these skins."
What does it mean?

I guess I found the answer to my question. :)
This mesh has 'default' texture (DromEd Jorge). One should not probably save the map with this texture.

I had that error too. But I clicked yes. And after clicking yes to it for the next couple of saves it stopped coming up, and ive seen no problem with it (mine was a light worldobj causing it).

This error will come up whenever you apply different textures to a static mesh without publishing it as a new skin. I'm not sure what impact the whole mesh skinning process will have on FM distribution, since adding a skin changes the actual mesh file. Hopefully FM authors will just be able to stick textures on the meshes and have the changes saved per instance in their map file and won't have to include the actual modified mesh files for them to display correctly when other people play it.

Would the modified mesh/skin not be included in the compiled .IBT file?

hmmm- I dont understand that as all I did was add in a world obj light object, I didnt change the skins or anything on it, it was just the default thing that shipped with the ed.

Well, my concern is that the meshes might not display correctly if the person playing the map doesn't have the version of the mesh with the new skins. Chances are the IBT will contain the modified mesh file, but if a person was running the map straight from the editor or a GMP, the meshes would probably show up with the default skin.

Could you be missing some files? My first install of T3Ed was corrupt, but still ran okay. I knew I was missing a few textures and had to copy them in by hand. Later, I redownloaded and reinstalled T3Ed and found that I had over 3000 more files than before!

Hmmm... How many files has your T3Ed .ZIP file?
