I have the Complete Collection put out by Mastertronic and am trying to uninstall them so I can do a clean reinstall and use the updated versions of the unofficial patches (Tfix, TafferPatcher, Sneaky Upgrade). Thief 2 uninstalled fine, but I can't uninstall Thief Gold and Deadly Shadows via the Control Panel, a RunDLL message box pops up saying: There was a problem starting C:\Program The specified module could not be found.
So I tried to follow instructions on removing them via the Registry Editor, but I can't seem to find the listing for them under the Uninstall key. So could anybody give me some further advice on how to get them uninstalled? I would really appreciate any help.
EDIT: Okay, I managed to find the registry entries and deleted them, so they're not listed in the Programs under Control Panel anymore, but now the install option for both Thief Gold and Deadly Shadows is greyed out in the Mastertronic installer, so apparently it thinks they're still installed? Any ideas? Help still appreciated.
(What's really annoying is that I've had this exact same issue before but I can't remember how I got around it :grr: )

try to run the setup.exe directly.
