I have a Mannimarco bug similar to the one discussed elsewhere on the internet. After I speak with him, he remains invulnerable to attack. (Yes, I have the black soul gem, etc.). People say to patch the game or bring him into the water so he drowns. The problem is that MY Mannimarco won't attack me! He just stands there. I can't get him to move. What the hell can I do? Is there some kind of patch out there for this one? It's frustrating.

yeah, it's what I'd done when I played through this quest. I was so scared he would start to attack me first that I didn't give him a chance to say whatever he's got to say to me if there ever was anything :p

Activate your console, click on Mannimarco so that he is the selected object, then type
kill
and hit enter. He will die. Think of it as the magic of the filled colossal black soul gem destroying the evil for all time.
