By and large, we don't. We're much more interested in the core functionality than the attractiveness of the user interface. ;)

If your interviewer does give a damn about suit or tie then you probably won't want to work there anyway. Unless you
like wearing that kind of clothes, of course.
Clean, well kept (possibly new if you have the money) clothes which you are comfortable in work much better in my experience.
