Hello,
I'm making an attempt at getting the source code to UW released. If anyone can give me any leads as to who to contact, I would much appreciate it.
From the sounds of it, EA owns the rights and would be able to release it, so if anyone knows who I might contact there, that would likely be most helpful!

From what I recall, Doug Church tried unsuccessfully to obtain the source code from EA quite a number of years ago when he he was toying with the idea of making UW3. I'm not sure if he was able to even locate who had it. But then, I learnt this information from forum posts some time back and am unsure of the accuracy of this information. Interestingly enough, he is now an Executive Producer at EA.
If it is a remake that you are interested in making, your best bet might be to try and contact any one of the people who have attempted to remake the game in the past. Despite the fact that all remake projects have failed thus far, there has been some considerable success in reverse engineering a lot of the game files.
